We investigate topological and disorder effects in non-Hermitian systems with chiral symmetry. The system under consideration consists a finite Su-Schrieffer-Heeger chain to which two semi-infinite leads are attached. lacks the parity-time time-reversal symmetries is appropriate for study of quantum transport properties. complex energy spectrum analyzed terms chain-lead coupling strength, shows substantial differences between chains even odd number sites. mid-gap edge states acquire lifetime both origin or generated by strong leads. induces coalescence eigenvalues, associated exceptional points vanishing eigenfunction rigidity. electron transmission coefficient approached Landauer formalism, an analytical expression range obtained. Notably, this unitary conductance enhancement phase.
